To me it has recently occurred that cause of all the wars is in Genes.
How ????
I will explain....
ever seen a lion... tiger ... yes no may be.... you know there whole life cycle is dependent on there tendency to expand and conquer ... specially lion ... they conquer pride of lionesses ...its in the genes
Men by nature are polygamist and it is in there genes as they just want to expand there genes ... it has nothing to do with questions of morality etc ... what you see and hear as a consequence is just a result of there genetic programming .... polygamist due to expansive nature .. men .. some times prevent this behavior due to norms of society or weigh there actions in the mirror of their own morality... there has to be some difference between men and animals .. right ... yes no ...maybe ....

now the same expansive nature takes a more sophisticated form of acquiring more and more resources for themselves and hence we have wars or fertile plains or land that have mines .... expansive nature ... so I conclude expansive nature = polygamist behavior = wars = animal acts hmm... do you see where I am going ... so no control pushes society into more animal like behavior by breaking old laws of honor which were nothing other then how to control animal like behavior of men which is expressed in one or the other form :)
